This is Week 9
SOS = Strength of Schedule.
SOV = Strength of Victory. (Not used for seedings, but shows how good the teams are that a team has beaten.
Some notes about the seedings listed in the division/conference standings.
Explanation of Division Standings.
1. Once games begin to be played between teams within the same division, the division standings will sort by division record.
2. The winner of the division is awarded the top seeds in the conference regardless of overall record.
3. Tiebreakers to determine the division winners are:
a. Wins/Losses in games played within own division.
b. If still tied: Head-to-Head
c. If still tied: Strength of Schedule of all games played.
4. The winners of each division are then sorted, between those teams, by the same tiebreakers listed above and awarded the top seeds in the conference.
Explanation of Conference Standings.
1. Conference standings are sorted by overall record.
2. The seedings are determined by the tiebreakers listed below after the division winners have been awarded their top seeds.
3. Tiebreakers to determine the conference standings are:
a. Wins/Losses in all games played.
b. If still tied: Head-to-Head
c. If still tied: Strength of Schedule of all games played.
